What's The Best Thing You Can Do This Winter?

Today we have a guest post from Sarah Wilmott from Feel Better Box, all about making your own Winter care package!
This winter it’s highly likely someone you know or love might get one of the winter ailments we all dread… A cold, the Flu, Gastro, Nirovirus or just feeling the winter blues.

So how can you help? Normally you might think, oh I wish I could help but I don’t know what to do and to be honest, I don’t really want to catch what they’re harboring! That’s cool; we’ve all been there and feel the same. But this Winter, how about doing something a little special?

I’m talking about a care package. If you’ve not heard of a care package, you are forgiven because it ultimately started out when families used to send their loved ones packages of items they might need when serving in the army or when grown children were away studying at university. Families would pack up toiletries, snacks, chocolates, and any other favorite addition to the care package, pack into a box and send it in the post.

In a nutshell, a care package is a box of goodies sent in the post to help the receiver know they are being thought of and cared for from a distance.

So what might you like to add to your care package this winter? How about:

*Tissues
*Throat Drops
*Vitamins
*Magazines
*Puzzle books
*A favored DVD
*Good Book
*Bath Soaks
*Luxury Mug
*Gourmet Teas and Drinking Chocolate
*Treats and snacks
*Warm socks
*Gift box from a Newsagent
*Express Shipping Satchel

Basically everything you’d love to help you feel better!

It doesn’t have to be an extravagant or expensive gift, it is always the thought that counts. And I can guarantee when someone is unwell and feeling at their lowest, a surprise gift in the post will likely be the best gift they’ve received all year. And the best bit? They will remember when they felt their worst, they will remember that you were there to cheer them up and help them feel better.

If your loved one is sick and you’d love to send them a care package but you are short of time, look up Feel Better Box – we’ll have your loved one feeling better in no time. www.feelbetterbox.com.au
